Summer Camps

(Ages 7-14)

Summer Camps are an opportunity for kids to get acquainted with climbing concepts and skills using fun games and challenges all geared toward climbing. Monday through Friday all summer long from 8am until 4pm with extended day options at no additional cost. Your kids will climb all morning and adventure all afternoon; visiting parks, laser quest, circus school and the science and technology museum. The cost is $350 +HST per week and will be prorated for short weeks. No experience required.

Half-Day Camps

We are offering Half-Day camps in the mornings from 9 until 12 each weekday that require registration 48 hours in advance. This replaces our former drop-off program and allows the kids to play games, get acquainted with climbing and our gym, as well as meet our campers, counsellors and coaches. The cost of half-day camp is 40$ per day but spaces are limited. Please register for half-day camp by following the same procedure as noted below.

Monday 
8am - 9am: Welcome to the gym, get sized up for gear, climb for fun.
9am - 10am: Introductions to each other, the gym and then Capture the Flag
10am - 1030am: Light Snacks (as needed)
1030am - 1130am: Introduction to climbing Skills (grouped based on skill)
1130am - 1230pm: Free Climbing 
1230pm - 1pm: Lunch
1pm - 330pm: Park Adventure
4pm: Counsellors Leave
530pm: End of Extended Day Pick Up

Tuesday
8am - 9am: Gear Up, Warm-up and climb for fun.
9am - 10am: Game of choice by the kids.
10am - 1030am: Light Snacks (as needed)
1030am - 1130am: Terminology Game (whole group activity) and pattern traversing.1130am - 1230pm: Free Climbing & Games
1230pm - 1pm: Lunch
1pm - 300pm: Circus School
3 - 4 pm: Free Climbing
4pm: Counsellors Leave 
530Pm: End of Extended Day Pick Up

Wednesday
8am - 9am: Gear Up, Warm-up and climb for fun.
9am - 10am: Game of choice by the kids.
10am - 1030am: Light Snacks (as needed)
1030am - 1130am: Climbing Skills and pattern traversing.
1130am - 1230pm: Challenge Accepted!
1230pm - 1pm: Lunch
1pm - 3pm: Science and Technology Museum

Thursday
8am - 9am: Gear Up, Warm-up and climb for fun.

1230pm - 1pm: Lunch
1pm - 3pm: Laser Quest

1130am - 1230pm: Free Climbing & Games
1230pm - 1pm: Lunch
1pm - 3pm: Park Adventure, Wading Pool
3 - 4 pm: Free Climbing
4pm: Counsellors Leave 
530Pm: End of Extended Day Pick Up

Registration Process

If you wish to register for summer camp, please email coyoteyouth@gmail.com with the following information written directly within:

  • Your childs full name
  • Your childs age
  • Any anaphylactic Allergies
  • Parent first name
  • Parent email address
  • Parent phone number
  • Week of Camp you wish to register for
  • 2nd choice incase your first choice is full.

Once you have received a confirmation email, you will be directed to the gym either by phone or in person to complete the process with payment. Your spot will be held for 48 hours.

The week prior to camp you will be emailed a registration package containing detailed forms and waivers that need to be completed and returned to us. All fillable forms should be saved onto your computer and then emailed back. The circus school waiver should be printed, filled out and brought to camp on the first day of the week.

Please note: We only issue a 75% refund up to two weeks before the first day of camp. We appreciate your understanding.

What to bring to camp

Please ensure your child brings the following items in their bag each day:

  • Running Shoes
  • Sunscreen
  • Water Bottle (Bigger is better)
  • Comfortable Fitting Clothing (no jeans)
  • Lunch and Snacks in plastic (no glass containers allowed – peanut free essential)
  • Swimsuit/Trunks (Friday only)
  • Towel (Friday only)
